Fitch Ratings predicted that the volume of global sukuk will exceed one trillion dollars in 2025, with its overall credit profile stabilizing.

Sukuk will remain a key part of religious capital markets in many OIC countries and will also remain important in emerging markets, accounting for 12 percent of total U.S. dollar debt issued in emerging markets in 2024 (excluding China).

Fitch expects the overall funding environment to be favorable, with the Fed likely to cut interest rates to 3.5 percent by the fourth quarter of 2025. However, issuers' credit profiles may affect market accessibility.
